This is the latest broadcast partnership secured by DFL subsidiary Bundesliga International, with licensing agreements in place in all 211 FIFA member states. SportTV CEO Sigmundur Lárusson added, “We at SportTV are delighted to have reached an agreement on the quality content that the Bundesliga provides and look forward to the first live broadcast in January after the winter break on Friday 18 January with TSG Hoffenheim vs FC Bayern München. We will for the next two and half years provide vast coverage each weekend, by offering the fans five to six live games per round and together with Bundesliga strive to develop its footprint in Iceland.”
