The IFA Secretary Utpal Ganguli told the media, “As per token, Abinash is still an East Bengal footballer. But the player had other allegations that the signature has been duplicated by East Bengal and thus we have decided to forward the case to the IFA disciplinary committee.”
The IFA has also been miffed by Ruidas not appearing infront of the IFA committee, which has also been referred to the IFA disciplinary committee.
In a further twist on the matter, the AIFF has send a mail to the IFA to refer the matter of Ruidas to its player status committee due to it being an inter-state transfer issue.
