Matches now confirmed include Der Klassiker between FC Bayern München and Borussia Dortmund on Matchday 26 (Saturday, April 1, 6:30pm CET). A day later, 1. FC Köln and Borussia Mönchengladbach will clash in the Rhine derby (Sunday, April 2, 3:30pm CET). Matchday 27 the following week will see direct encounters between European qualifiers Borussia Dortmund and 1.FC Union Berlin, Sport-Club Freiburg and FC Bayern München, and Bayer 04 Leverkusen and Eintracht Frankfurt (all matches on Saturday, April 8, 3:30pm CET). The Swabian head-to-head between FC Augsburg and VfB Stuttgart will kick off Matchday 29 (Friday, April 21, 8:30pm CET). The same matchday will also see the two UEFA Champions League participants Borussia Dortmund and Eintracht Frankfurt face each other (Saturday, April 22, 6:30pm CET).
In Bundesliga 2, the current table leader, SV Darmstadt 98, will play the side now in fourth place, SC Paderborn 07, on Matchday 27 (Sunday, April 9, 1:30pm CET). Matchday 28 will include a clash between founding members of the Bundesliga 1.FC Kaiserslautern and Hamburger SV (Saturday, April 15, 8:30pm CET). A time and date has now also been set for the Hamburg derby between Hamburger SV and FC St. Pauli on Matchday 29 (Friday, April 21, 6:30pm CET).
Due to laws around public holidays, no Bundesliga or Bundesliga 2 matches will take place on Good Friday (April 7). Instead, the schedule for Matchday 27 includes three matches in the Bundesliga and five Bundesliga 2 matches on Easter Sunday (April 9).
