The Managing Director of 1. FC Köln succeeds Fredi Bobic, whose departure from the management board of Hertha Berlin also saw him resign as a member of the DFL Supervisory Board.
The committee now comprises Chairman Hans-Joachim Watzke (Borussia Dortmund), Deputy Chairman Oliver Leki (Sport-Club Freiburg; currently on hiatus from this position due to his role as DFL CEO), Rüdiger Fritsch (SV Darmstadt 98), Dr Christian Keller (1. FC Köln), Stephan Schippers (Borussia Mönchengladbach) and Ralf Huschen (SC Paderborn 07).
