The draw for the quarterfinal of the German Cup (DFB Pokal) 2016/17 was held in the early hours of today after the pre-quarterfinal match of the 2016/17 Bundesliga season between Borussia Dortmund and Hertha BSC Berlin at the Signal Iduna Park.
The draw was carried out by popstar Mark Foster and Germany U-21 coach Stefan Kuntz, who also carried out the draw of the German Women’s Cup.
Defending champions Bayern Munich face Bundesliga rivals FC Schalke 04, while last season finalists Borussia Dortmund travel to third division side Sportfreunde Lotte.
The matches would be played on February 28/March 1, 2017.
