The 2017/18 I-League is heading for a never before seen climax with an incredible number of four clubs still in contention for the coveted title as the I-League 2017/18 will pay out its 18th and final match day on Thursday, March 8, when the title contenders clash in a triple I-League decider.
Gokulam Kerala FC v Mohun Bagan AC, Minerva Punjab FC v Churchill Brothers SC and East Bengal Club v NEROCA FC will kick-off simultaneously at 15.00h IST.
But who wins the title how? Below a list of permitations on each of the four contenders on how they can lift the 2017/18 I-League title!
MINERVA PUNJAB FC – Punjab
face Churchill Brothers SC at Tau Devi Lal Stadium in Panchkula, Haryana
– Win the title if they beat Churchill Brothers
– Win the title if they draw against Churchill Brothers, while East Bengal and NEROCA play out a draw
NEROCA FC – Manipur
face East Bengal Club at the Saltlake Stadium in Kolkata, West Bengal
– Win the title if they beat East Bengal, while Minerva Punjab FC do not win against Churchill Brothers
MOHUN BAGAN AC – Kolkata
face Gokulam Kerala FC at the EMS Municipal Stadium in Kozhikode, Kerala
– Win the title if they beat Gokulam Kerala FC, while Minerva Punjab FC do not win against Churchill Brothers and NEROCA FC do not win against East Bengal Club
EAST BENGAL CLUB – Kolkata
face NEROCA FC at the Saltlake Stadium in Kolkata, West Bengal
– Win the title if they win against NEROCA FC, while Minerva Punjab FC do not win against Churchill Brothers and Mohun Bagan do not win against Gokulam Kerala FC
