Participants from across Asia benefited in the second edition of the AFC Women’s Futsal Coaching Instructors’ Workshop in Malaysia which concluded on Friday, April 6.
The course was opened by Head of AFC Futsal and Beach Soccer Development Ali Targholizadeh, who reiterated AFC’s determination to develop women’s futsal.
As the course was held ahead of the AFC Women’s Futsal Championship Thailand 2018 in May, he added that the second championship has seen its number of participating teams increase from eight to 15, due to great response from the Member Associations.
The three-day workshop combined both theory and practical sessions, which also included idea sharing and knowledge exchange among the participants.
