FC Bengaluru United (FCBU) put on a commanding performance to secure a 5–0 win over Bharat Bangalore FC in the KSFA Super Division 2025–26. From start to finish, FCBU controlled the game with clinical finishing, sharp wing play, and a watertight defence that never let their opponents settle; an all-round effort with goals from Ribhav (10′, 66′), Lijo (15′), Sherin (78′) and Romario (90′).
FCBU took the lead early in the 10th minute when Vumlenlal Hangshing sent in a precise cross from the left, met perfectly by Ribhav’s well-timed header into the net. Just five minutes later, Junain delivered another brilliant ball, this time from the right wing, which Lijo nodded home to double the advantage.
Early in the second half, BBFC were reduced to ten men, further tilting the momentum in FCBU’s favour. The third goal arrived in the 66th minute when Ribhav showcased fine control inside the box, slipping the ball through a defender’s legs before coolly finishing into the bottom corner. FCBU kept pressing, and in the 78th minute, a corner caused chaos in the box before Sherin pounced on the loose ball to make it 4–0. The scoring was rounded off in style in the 90th minute as Romario struck a clean shot from just outside the box, beating the keeper to complete the 5–0 rout.
A dominant all-round display from FCBU — disciplined at the back, creative in midfield, and clinical in front of goal — as they continued their unbeaten run and strengthened their position at the top of the points table in the KSFA Super Division standings.
