Mohammed Rafique joins Mumbai City FC from East Bengal!

India international midfielder Mohammed Rafique will join Mumbai City FC from East Bengal Club in the 2018/19 season.

27 year old Kolkata-born Mohammed Rafique is best known for scoring the winner for Atletico de Kolkata in the final of the inaugural Indian Super League in December 2014 against the Kerala Blasters at the D.Y. Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai.

Mohammed Rafique started his career with Tollygunge Agragami before getting his first professional contract with Prayag United (United SC) in the Calcutta Football League and I-League.

In 2014 he moved to East Bengal Club and since then he has been with the red and gold while playing on loan for Atletico de Kolkata in ISL-1 and ISL-2 in 2014 and 2015 and then for the Kerala Blasters in ISL-3 in 2016.

Now Rafique joins Mumbai City FC were he will aim to prove his value as a midfielder.
