The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has confirmed that Monday’s AFC Women’s Club Championship 2022 – Pilot Tournament (East) match between ISPE WFC from Myanmar and Chinese Taipei’s Taichung Blue Whale FC had to be abandoned due to inclement weather.
The encounter was abandoned following two (2) stoppages of thirty (30) minutes in accordance with Section 8 of the AFC Competition Operations Manual (Edition 2021).
Subsequently, the tie, which stood at 0-0 at the point of abandonment, has been rescheduled to Tuesday, August 16, at 10am at the Chonburi Stadium in Thailand and will recommence at the 22nd minute mark, which was when the match was interrupted.
