AFC VIDEO: Let us come together and #BreakTheChain!

The #BreakTheChain campaign carries the message of solidarity in these challenging times and promotes the guidelines put in place by the World Health Organization (WHO), particularly #StayAtHome, and to practice good personal hygiene, social distancing as well as respecting the rules of self-quarantine.

Asia’s finest match officials have joined the chorus of the Continent’s icons and stars in the latest Asian Football Confederation’s (AFC) #BreakTheChain series which continues to encourage communities to play an active role in preventing the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.

FIFA and AFC Elite referees Christopher Beath from Australia, Japan’s Yoshimi Yamashita, Jordan’s Adham Makhadmeh and Mohammed Abdulla from the United Arab Emirates – all of whom have graced the biggest stages in world football – are the latest to feature in the mass awareness campaign urging fans to follow the best practices outlined by the World Health Organization.
