The AIFF Elite Academy U-16 beat the Vasco U-20 side 7-0 on August 8 on an artificial turf in Goa. The game was part of the team’s preparations for the upcoming SAFF Championships to be held in Nepal.
The U-16 boys opened the scoring in the 43rd minute with two more coming in the space of the next 5 minutes. The game slowed down a bit before Vikram scored one in the 62nd minute from the spot. Three more goals were added to the score line to complete the rout.
