As part of the State development plan to harness Football in the respective States and build a stable Grassroots Football ecosystem, the Western India Football Association (WIFA) along with Indian Super League franchise Mumbai City FC conducted an AIFF Grassroots Leaders Course in Solapur, Maharashtra.
The Grassroots Leaders Course, which is engineered to tutor participants in the philosophy of Grassroots Football, kicked-off on November 12 and concluded on November 14, 2016 with Dinesh Nair being the Course Instructor.
51 candidates participates in the three day Course and organised a Grassroots Football Festival at the end of the Course which saw more than 300 kids indulging in various Footballing activities engineered by the participants.
