I-League champions Chennai City FC announced today that they have extended the contract of defender Ajith Kumar Kamaraj until summer 2022.

22 year old Tamil-born Ajith Kumar Kamaraj has had a standout season as a left-back for the Coimbatore-based side, where he tormented the opposition defences but also took care off his defensive duties.

By extending his contract, Chennai City FC have ensured another of their key players of last season is to stay with the club for three more years.
