Bayern Munich without Joshua Kimmich until the end of the year!

FC Bayern Munich will have play their remaining matches of the year without Germany international midfielder Joshua Kimmich.

Joshua Kimmich, who is unvaccinated, has just recovered from a COVID-19 infection but still is feeling the after-effects of the infection.

Joshua Kimmich explained, “I’m happy my self-isolation caused by the coronavirus has ended. I’m doing very well, but I’m not yet able to train fully due to slight infiltrations in my lungs. I’ll therefore do some rehabilitative training and can’t wait to be fully back in action in January.”

The midfielder will miss the home game against FSV Mainz 05 on Saturday, December 11; the away game at VfB Stuttgart on December 14 and the final game of the year against VfL Wolfsburg at the Allianz Arena on December 17.
