The Goa Football Development Council’s Residential Football Academy in Margao this weekend had two-time FIFA World Cup winner Cafu, who captained the Selecao to the trophy in 2002 and was part of the team in 1994 besides the ‘Pele of Futsal’ Falcao as guests.
The Brazilians Cafu and Falcao, who were in Goa for the inaugural Premier Futsal tournament, interacted and spend some time with the young GFDC footballers for whom this was a once in a lifetime opportunity.
Afterwards Cafu and Falcao were felicitated by the GFDC chairman Dr. Rufino Monteiro and member Secretary Aleixo da Costa besides interacting with the media.
