The CAF Organizing Committee for Interclub Competitions has decided to postpone the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League, Group A fixture between Al Ahly SC (Egypt) and Al Merriekh Omdurman (Sudan), initially scheduled on February 11/12, 2022.
The match will now be played on March 5, 2022 at 19:00 GMT in Al Ahly WE Al Salam Stadium in Cairo.
The move was necessitated by the participation of Al Ahly SC in the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup, scheduled to be played in Abu Dhabi from February 3-12, 2022.
