The Day 11 of the 3rd edition of Chandigarh Youth League had two sets of matches one in the morning and the prestigious semifinals of U-12, U-8 and U-10 in the evening.
The morning featured closure of group stages in opens and U-16 category.
The opens tournament featured soldiers team winning with an eight goal margin and where Danish, Gaurav, Rohan and Nikhil all scored two goals. Pankula Fc and 7 brothers fought for the semifinal spot and featured a 2-2 draw match.
The U-16 match featured Doaba FC C scoring six goals to seal their spot in the semifinals. The U-16 team ATM FC topping the group of U-16 and scoring two goals for the victory.
The evening matches featured semifinals in the U-8, U-10 and U-12 categories.
Both U-12 matches went to penalties and the victors for the finals are Super Striker Football Academy and VIVEK FC 2 where both teams fought till the end. The scores were 3-3 and 0-0 respectively.
The U-10 semifinals featured St Stephens scoring two goals to one for sealing the final spot the winner was scored by Nodit and Sukhpreet for the winner. The other match had velocity A team that sealed their victory comfortably by six goals to nil.
The U-8 semifinals featured Siraj and Shiven who coupled together to get a 4-0 victory for the final spot. The U-8 team Dikshanth also had a tight match seal the spot for victory by a 2-1 margin where Amolik displayed a splendid performance.
