Composed FC Bengaluru United beat HAL 2-0!

FC Bengaluru United (FCBU) picked up another three points in the KSFA Super Division 2025–26 with a composed 2–0 victory over HAL Sports Club. Goals from Romario (15′) and Junain (62′) sealed the win as FCBU controlled the game from start to finish, showcasing patience in attack and solidity at the back.

The breakthrough came early in the 15th minute when Ribhav’s well-delivered corner was met by Romario, who rose high to head the ball into the net. FCBU continued to dominate possession and dictate the tempo, creating multiple opportunities. A 1v1 chance was denied by a sharp save from the HAL keeper, while both Nikhil and Altab saw efforts fly over the crossbar. The defence, meanwhile, had little to contend with in a one-sided first half.

After the interval, FCBU had to adapt to a sudden downpour that made conditions tricky. Despite the rain, the team pressed high and maintained control, though chances were harder to convert. The decisive second goal arrived in the 62nd minute: Nikhil broke free in a 1v1 with the keeper, who made the save, but Junain reacted quickly to slot home the rebound and double the lead. From there, FCBU managed the game with discipline, ensuring HAL found no way back.

A professional display and a well-earned 2–0 result underline FCBU’s strong momentum in the KSFA Super Division campaign.
