CONCACAF is aware and has been monitoring the current situation faced by the Federación Salvadoreña de Fútbol (FESFUT), which is facing a possible suspension by football’s international governing body, FIFA.

In view of the above, CONCACAF has today informed the Salvadoran clubs qualified for the 2022 SCL, Alianza FC, CD Aguila and CD Platense, that in the event the suspension of FESFUT is confirmed by FIFA, they will be unable to participate (or continue participating) in the 2022 SCL and their respective opponents will receive a bye to the next round.

The 2022 SCL kicks off on July 26-28 with the first leg Preliminary Round matches, followed by the second legs the following week.
