CONCACAF has announced its Disciplinary Committee has sanctioned clubs CD Olimpia (HON) and LD Alajuelense (CRC) following various security incidents that occurred during both legs of the 2022 Scotiabank CONCACAF League Final.
After due consideration of the evidence gathered during their investigation, and based on the 2022 Scotiabank CONCACAF League Regulations, and the FIFA Disciplinary Code, the Committee has imposed an undisclosed fine on both clubs.
Furthermore, the Committee has warned both clubs that more severe sanctions could be taken should security incidents occur during their matches in future CONCACAF club competitions.
