Delhi Dynamos score ISL-5 first win at champions Chennaiyin FC!

Defending Indian Super League champions Chennaiyin FC suffered another setback as they lost 1-3 winless Delhi Dynamos at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Chennai on Saturday night.

Delhi Dynamos went ahead in the 16th minute through Daniel Lalhlimpuia’s first-ever ISL goal, but Chennaiyin FC hit back with Raphael Augusto equalising off a penalty in the 39th minute. The match went 1-1 into the break.

The Delhi Dynamos won the game with a double strike as first Bikramjit Singh put them again ahead in the 78th minute and Nandhakumar Sekar secured the win by scoring only four minutes later as the Delhi Dynamos won their first game of the ISL-5 campaign.

Both the teams are now off for the mid-season break for the 2019 AFC Asian Cup and would return to action in 2019.
