The Football Association of Odisha (FAO) with profound grief and shock, the Office Bearers and its Members in deep sorrow and condolence on the sad and untimely demise of Asis Kumar Mitra who breathed his last yesterday evening at his Cuttack residence. He was 80 years old.
He had the honour of representing Odisha state team in the National Senior Men Football Championship for Santosh Trophy. He was a qualified National Level Referee and has officiated in many major Football Tournaments across the state.
He was an employee of Odisha Police. He is survived by his wife, one son and three daughters.
