FC Goa, in collaboration with Kingfisher, has launched the second edition of “Road To Goa” Five-a-Side Football Tournament, following the roaring success of the inaugural edition.
Set to commence on February 3, 2024, the tournament encompasses three distinct categories: Men’s, Women’s, and Legends’ (dedicated to players aged 35 and above). The competition will follow a league-cum-knockout format, promising intense matches and fierce competition.
Spread across four venues across the state – The Base in Seraulim, Kicks ‘N Flicks in Ribandar, Poriat Ground in Calangute and Camp Souza in Camorlim – the tournament offers a diverse and inclusive platform for participants.
Teams are invited to register for a nominal entry fee of Rs. 2500 per team, with each team allowed up to 10 members. This fee ensures an opportunity to vie for attractive prizes and the chance to showcase their skills on the football field.
‘Road To Goa’ will reach its climax with a Grand Finale on February 18, 2024, marking the culmination of the league stages and knockouts.
Prizes at Stake:
● Winners: Rs. 50,000 cash prize, exclusive gift bags from FC Goa and Kingfisher, and a special felicitation at one of FC Goa’s upcoming home matches in the ISL at the iconic Fatorda Stadium.
● Runners-up: Rs. 15,000 cash prize, gift bags from FC Goa and Kingfisher.
