Final 22 confirmed for eISL Season 2!

Following an extensive qualification process on the road to eISL Season 2, we are delighted to inform that 22 seats have been confirmed and the players are all set to compete in the prestigious eSporting league organised by Indian Super League this year. The process so far has seen players participating in the online eISL qualifiers from all corners of the country competing against each other to prove themselves for a place in the ISL club of their choice.

The online qualifiers started in full force with Karman Tikka (Season 1 runner-up) attesting his name to Chennaiyin FC alongside defending champion Navin Haridoss. Saksham Rattan and Aditya Chaddha clinched their seats at Mumbai City FC after facing Afnan and Aditya in a tight encounter in the semifinale of the Season 2 qualifiers. Aditya Dubey made it to the top and will join Vanshaj Sharma for FC Goa and Akshat Khandelwal will represent East Bengal FC alongside their retained player Shayantan Mondal.

The online qualifiers also gave way to some spirited runs from Soumak, Afnan and Tej Bindra, who almost reached the periphery demonstrating their FIFA 23 prowess. Bengaluru FC sealed their rosters for the upcoming season with the inclusion of Charanjot Singh and Sagnik Banerjee. Both players have been professional FIFA 23 players in their respective regions.

Former Champion with Chennaiyin FC and winner of the FGS Qualifier, Saransh Jain secured his place on the NorthEast United FC roster for Season 2, with a convincing victory over Soumak in the eISL finals of the qualifier.

Shubham Jadhav found his spot alongside the Tuskers’ Lokmanyu Chaturvedi to represent Kerala Blasters in the second season of the eISL. Siddh Chandarana, also a seasoned veteran in the FIFA circuit, made a strong case to feature in the eISL after securing his place alongside Aman Warsi at Hyderabad FC qualifiers.

Darvesh Khera, who represented Hyderabad in Season 1, took the top spot in the Jamshedpur FC qualifiers and will have a chance to represent the Red Miners in the eISL Season 2. Nathan Fernandes and Sarvagya Rawat secured their spots for the Odisha FC and Afnan Ameen & Vignesh Balaji sealed the ATKMB’s roster on the final day of the qualifiers. All 11 ISL clubs have taken part in the eISL 2022-23 club qualifiers and all 22 seats have been confirmed.
