Benjamin Laldinpuia, a pivotal figure in Mizoram football passed away yesterday, April 6 after a long battle with illness.
Didina, as he is affectionately known, was a leading figure in the founding of Aizawl FC. He had in the past also taken charge of Mizoram teams from the sub-junior levels to the senior level Santosh Trophy, as well as coaching Reitlang FC in the Mizoram Premier League.
Didina had also been a long-standing Executive Committee Member of the Mizoram Football Association.
