One of the best Mizo defenders from the late 1980’s and the early 90’s, Zohmingliana (Age 50) passed away late on the evening of July 2, 2019 at LRM Hospital in Aizawl.
Better known as Zohminga, he played in several top local clubs before joining PWD Sporting Club in 1989 where he continued to work after his playing career.
He is survived by his wife Lalrinengi and four children. His funeral took place on July 3, 2019 where numerous former team mates and players payed their final respects.
The Mizoram Football Association offers it’s sincerest condolences to the family of Mr. Zohmingliana.
