The AFC U-20 Women’s Asian Cup – Uzbekistan 2024 has all the ingredients to be a thriller following the official draw at the AFC House in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Friday, December 15.
The eight teams were divided into two groups for the March 3 to 16, 2024 tournament.
Hosts Uzbekistan, seeking to win the title for the first time, were drawn in Group A. Standing in the Central Asian side’s way will be two-time winners South Korea, Australia and Chinese Taipei, the 2002 runners-up.
Japan, who won the AFC U-19 Women’s Championship six times, lead the Group B cast. Looking to deny them a place in the semifinals will be 2007 winners North Korea, 2006 champions China and Vietnam.
The top four teams at the AFC U20 Women’s Asian Cup™ Uzbekistan 2024 will qualify for the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup Colombia 2024.
