In a bottom of the table clash, NorthEast United FC hosted Delhi Dynamos at the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium in Guwahati on Wednesday evening with the Dynamos scoring a late winner.
It was a slow start into the game with Seiminlen Doungel having the first chance for NorthEast United FC in the 20th minute, while a little later Jeroen Lumu had the best attempt for Delhi Dynamos landing in the sidenettings. At the break it stood goalless.
The match continued to lack chances in the second session with the Dynamos having the better of the few and they finally scoring three minutes from time through substitute Kalu Uche. In injury-time David Ngaihte had a late chance to double the lead, but it stayed 0-1 for the guest from the Delhi Dynamos.
