At its meeting on Wednesday, December 13, the AFC Entry Control Body (ECB) declared Lao Toyota Football Club ineligible to take part in the 2018 AFC Cup.
The ECB established that Lao Toyota Football Club based in Vientiane, Laos was directly and/or indirectly involved in activities aimed at arranging or influencing the outcome of matches during the 2015 and 2016 AFC Cup seasons. This is in contravention of Article 12.8 of the Entry Manual for AFC Club Competitions 2017-2020.
The AFC Competitions Committee will ensure the implementation of this decision.
