The line-up for the 14th SAFF Championship 2023 is now complete with the confirmation of Lebanon as the eight and final participant.
The Football Association of Lebanon accepted the South Asian Football Federation’s invitation for the championship on Monday, May 8.
The 14th edition of the SAFF Championship 2023 is scheduled to take place in Bengaluru, India, from June 21 to July 4.
The SAFF Executive Committee meeting held on March 31, 2023 had decided to feature teams from outside SAFF regions with a view make the championship more competitive.
The participating teams are:
- Bangladesh
- Bhutan
- India
- Kuwait
- Lebanon
- Maldives
- Nepal
- Pakistan
