Millwall FC, the historic English football club playing in the Football League Championship, and Macron, leading international company in teamwear manufacturing and technical sponsor of the “Lions”, have unveiled the new ‘Home’ shirt for the upcoming 2020/21 season.
With this shirt, Millwall FC and Macron wanted to celebrate the shirt worn by players such as Teddy Sheringham and Tony Cascarino in 1988/89, the year of the London team’s first season in the First Division.
The 2020/21 ‘Home’ version comes in navy blue and has a V neck collar trimmed with contrasting horizontal white stripes, repeated on the sleeve edges and the back of the collar.
The shirt is a revistited verion oft he one worn during the 1988/89 season and is characterised by an embossed geometric pattern featuring diagonal stripes accross the front.
