Mohun Bagan score 2-0 win in CFL to overcome tough Tollygunge Agragami challenge!

Kolkata giants Mohun Bagan AC continued their Calcutta Football League – Premier Division ‘A’ campaign with a tough 2-0 victory over Tollygunge Agragami at their own Mohun Bagan ground on Sunday evening.

Mohun Bagan took the lead in the 18th minute off a great team effort finished off by Liberian striker Ansumana Kromah following a brilliant backheel by his strike partner Kamo Stephane Bayi.

The win for the Mariners was sealed by a header from substitute Nikhil Kadam in the 81st minute despite a tough and fighting game from Tollygunge Agragami for whom former Trinidad & Tobago striker Anthony Wolfe was a dangerman throughout the game.

With their fifth win of the CFL in a row, Mohun Bagan join archrivals East Bengal at the top of the table with 15 points but are only second on goal difference.
