Ms. Neelam Kapur has taken over as Director General of the Sports Authority of India today, February 7.
An Indian Information Service officer of 1982 batch, she has earlier handled important assignments in National Aids Control Organisation (NACO) and headed Directorate of Film Festivals, Directorate of Audio Visual Publicity (DAVP) and Directorate of Field Publicity(DFP).
