Indian Super League franchise NorthEast United FC have announced the signing of goalkeeper Mirshad K. Michu from SC East Bengal ahead of the 2021/22 season.
27 year old Bengalam in Kasaragod born Mirshad K. Michu played football locally in Kerala before joining FC Bardez in Goa ahead of the 2016 Goa Professional League. Later in the season, Mirshad went on loan to Gokulam Kerala FC.
It was there that East Bengal Club spotted him for the Calcutta Football League, which he went on to win that season. Over the last four years, Mirshad was with the red and gold now moving on to the Highlanders.
