Odisha FC travel to face Kerala Blasters away!

Odisha FC head coach Josep Gombau is hoping to replicate home win performance against Kerala Blasters in Kochi as the Juggernauts return to ISL action on Monday, December 26.

After a strong outing against the Mariners at home which resulted in the points being shared by both the teams, the Spanish tactitian will be looking to bring back all three points from Kochi.

While Saul Crespo, Shubham Sarangi, and Soosairaj are still recovering from their respective injuries, Nandhakumar comes back into the sqaud after serving his suspension, boosting Josep’s attacking options ahead of our game against the Kerala Blasters.

Narender Gehlot and Sahil Panwar’s solid defensive display against ATK Mohun Bagan earned them a spot on the ISL Team of the Week. Victor Rodríguez has been getting regular game time post recovery and looks sharp. Josep will be definetly tempted to use the Spanish playmaker against the Blasters.

Kerala Blasters have been in good form as they are unbeaten in six games and have kept three clean sheets in the process. The Blasters edged past Bengaluru FC in a thrilling encounter before heading to Chennai. Dimitrios netted for the fifth game in a row and Giannou also managed to get himself on the scoresheet.

Marko Leskovic has been massive at the back for the Kerala Blasters and he, too, chipped in with a goal against the Blues. KBFC come into this game on the back of a draw against Chennaiyin FC and will be looking to extend their unbeaten form.

The match will be telecasted live on Star Sports and live-streamed on Disney+ Hotstar & JioTV at 19:30h IST.
