Poland not India to host 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup!

The FIFA Council has decided to award the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup hosting rights to Poland. The decision was made at a FIFA Council meeting in Bogotá, Colombia on Friday, March 16.

India had officially submitted its bid for the 2019 U-20 FIFA World Cup after successfully hosting a record-breaking FIFA U-17 World Cup in October 2017.

The FIFA Council reviewed the bids of India and the only other contestant Poland after other candidates did not submit any formal bid. During its meeting in the Colombian capital the FIFA Council came to the conclusion that Poland will be the ideal host for the 22nd edition of the FIFA U-20 World Cup.
