In light of growing concerns and evolving nature on COVID-19 amidst lockdown in most countries, the CAF Emergency Committee has decided to postpone the following matches until further notice:
– CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup Semifinal matches: Both legs scheduled for May 1-3 & May 8-10, 2020
– FIFA Women’s U-17 World Cup Qualifiers: Initially scheduled for May 1-3 and May 15-17, 2020
A new schedule will be announced in due time.
Meanwhile, CAF is monitoring the situation closely and working with the relevant authorities such as the Wealth Health Organization (WHO) on the impact of the virus on the African continent.
