Promoted Indian Super League side Punjab FC have announced the signing of winger Leon Augustine for the 2023/24 season.
24 year old Leon Augustine, who was born in Kerala’s Kozhikode, in his youth played locally.
Leon Augustine then joined the Bengaluru FC B team in 2016 and made it to their senior side in 2018. He spend the last five seasons with the former ISL champions.
Now Leon Augustine joins Punjab FC and will hope to prove himself in the upcoming ISL.
Leon Augustine said, “I am very excited to join Punjab FC. This team has a winning mentality, and I really felt that in my conversations with the coach. I want to challenge myself and this is a great opportunity. I can’t wait to pull on the shirt and do the best I can!”
