The Salgaocar FC Under-20 Juniors managed to get the better of local rivals Vasco SC beating them 2-0 in a derby in the GFA TACA Under-20 GOA match played at the Cansaulim Football Ground.
Both the goals came in the second session with the first half seeing both the teams miss their chances.
Salgaocar FC opened their scoring through Devendra Murgaokar in the 60th minute who made no mistakes in directing the ball into the Vasco goal from a pinpoint ball played by Lalit Tariyal.
Salgaocar FC missed many opportunities during the course of the match but it was Devendra who sent The Green Brigades to a comfortable win with a two goal margin, when he scored right at the end of the match.
