The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Disciplinary and Ethics Committee on Friday, February 1 dismissed the protest lodged by the United Arab Emirates Football Association over the eligibility of two Qatar players.
This decision comes after the UAE FA claimed that Almoez Ali and Bassam Al Rawi were not eligible to play for Qatar as 22 year Almoez is Sudan-born and Bassam was born in the Iraqi capital Baghdad.
