Chennaiyin FC’s Under-13 side overturned a one-goal deficit to beat RV Soccer School 5-1 in an Under- 13 Youth League match played at the SSN College Ground today.
CFC trailed 0-1 at half-time, but bounced back in stunning fashion after the interval courtesy a hattrick of goals from Surya and one goal each from Liyakaath and Teejeshwar.
The second-half turnaround means the Chennaiyin FC boys have now made it two wins out of two in the Under-13 Youth League, following up on their 2-0 victory over Football Plus in the opener. This triumph also rounds up three wins in as many days for CFC’s senior team, Under-15s and now the Under-13s.
The Under-13s will now be looking to repeat their performance from the opening matches, when they take on Football Plus at the SSN College Ground on December 3.
