The East Bengal U-13 boys beat their archrivals Mohun Bagan U-13 boys by a 2-1 scoreline in a U-13 Youth League match played at the Barasat Stadium on Sunday, December 24.
The Mariners went ahead in the 34th minute through a Rohit Halder goal, which was equalised only a couple of minutes later by Bikram Singh for the red and gold in the first half injury time.
The 2-1 winner came for East Bengal through Dipu Yadav, who scored in the 42nd minute.
With their first win of the campaign, the East Bengal U-13s move to four points from five matches, while Mohun Bagan U-13s stay on 10 points from six matches.
