Defending champions Bengaluru FC are somewhat of the I-League title race this season after they were dealt a telling 1-3 blow by table toppers East Bengal at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru on Saturday evening. A Wedson Anselme goal in the first half and a brace by former Blues striker Robin Singh consigned Bengaluru FC to their first defeat at home in the I-League this season. C.K. Vineeth did get a goal back for the Blues but it was too little too late to salvage anything.
