As XtraTime reports, the battle between IMG-Reliance and the Kolkata giants – East Bengal & Mohun Bagan – has now literally become a “battle of nerves”.
After an informal meeting with the IFA at the Bengal Club today, it was understood that both the camps have started to understand that they both need each other. The Kolkata Giants have started to understand that they should explore all possible avenues to ensure that their teams plays in the highest level football tournament in the country. On the flip side, IMG-R has also started to get the point that the ISL can never reach the wanted heights if there is no East Bengal and Mohun Bagan.
