‘World Diabetes Day’ was celebrated today, November 17 at the East Bengal Club tent on the Kolkata Maidans. Around 177 patients attended the Diabetic Awareness seminar and Free Diabetic Examination and Consultation.
Inaugurated by East Bengal general secretary Kalyan Majumdar and followed by a awareness presentation by Dr. Shambo Samrat Samajdar in the presence of Ranjan Chowdhury, Head Coach of the East Bengal Youth Football Academy, Dr. Shanti Ranjan Dasgupta and other Executive committee members of East Bengal Club.
Kalyan Majumdar in his speech has pledged to fight Diabetes in the all affordable ways and spread awareness amongst the society through East Bengal Club in future as well.
