As XtraTime reports from Kolkata, city giants Mohammedan Sporting and Bhowanipore FC have requested their parent body IFA (West Bengal) to bid for the hosting rights of the Second Division League in Kolkata.
The two clubs are making the request to get home advantage over the other sides, which they wouldn’t have if the competition is held in Bangalore or elsewhere.
But the discussion is ongoing if and who the competition could be played in the pandemic.
