Champions East Bengal win CFL tie late against Calcutta Customs!

Calcutta Football League champions East Bengal Club continued their CFL campaign with a hard earned 2-0 win over Calcutta Customs at the East Bengal ground on Wednesday afternoon.

The unlikely hero was Trinidad & Tobago defender Carlyle Mitchell with two second half headers to seal the game for the red and gold.

After a rather unimpressive performance, the red and gold can thank their T&T defender for bailing them out in a game which saw unimaginative play from East Bengal and gritty defending from Calcutta Customs.
