Real Kashmir FC sign goalkeeper Subhasish Roy Chowdhury!

I-League side Real Kashmir FC have announced the signing of experienced goalkeeper Subhasish Roy Chowdhury for the 2022/23 season.

35 year old Kolkata-born Subhasish Roy Chowdhury played locally before joining the renowned Tata Football Academy.

Subhasish started his senior career with East Bengal Club in 2004 and then went on to play for Mahindra United (2005-10) and Dempo SC (2010-14) in the I-League, before joining Atletico de Kolkata. He went on loan to East Bengal and thereafter played for Delhi Dynamos, FC Goa, East Bengal, Kerala Blasters and finally Jamshedpur FC in the 2018/19 season.

Subhasish moving to the NorthEast to join the Highlanders in 2019 and since then has made 40 appearances for the club before now moving to Real Kashmir FC.

A few weeks ago, Subhasish Roy Chowdhury was on the verge of signing for East Bengal FC, but due to failing his medical, he wasn’t signed by the red and gold, so he now signs for the Snow Leopards.

Subhasish is a long-time number two of Team India and has four India caps to his name.
