Earlier this week the All India Football Federation (AIFF) Technical Director Scott O’Donell resigned from his position earlier this week due to personal reasons.
Scott had been appointed as the Technical Director for Academies and Coach Education back in November 2011 under a FIFA sponsored program as part of the team under Dutchman Robert Baan, the then AIFF Technical Director.
When Dutchman Rob Baan left India, Scott O’Donell stepped up and became the new Technical Director.
In the media there had been speculations if there was any unknown reason for Scott to leave India, but he clarified with a Twitter post saying that it was personal as he had a chance to go back to his home city in Australia.
